Luck or hard working?

It's tricky question, isn't? If you say, it's luck. Most people will think you are incompetent and you got there that far by sheer luck. If you say it is due to hard working, there is a tendency of sounding being arrogant. You cannot win. You can say whatever is true to you. Both are right. In fact, you need both. The proportion might be vary to different people. So it is both luck and hard working or hard working or luck. Whatever you like it's one of this two.
